Chapter Two — Our Story

Hospitality is our passion,
Building community is our legacy.

At La Maison Door, Home is so much more than a place — it’s that magical warm feeling that says you’re right where you’re supposed to be, and who you’re supposed to be with. Our Door is always open, and we look forward to sharing some of that magic with you.

A Note from the Founder

La Maison Door is more than a business. It’s an ode to my parents’ incredible legacy — their gift for hospitality, their gift for connection, and their enduring pursuit to leave the Earth better than they found it.

My father loved French — despite having a terrible accent — and would find ways to drop random words into everyday conversation. His career moved our family around the world, but no matter where we were calling home at the time, whenever it came time to celebrate a milestone or welcome special guests, he’d smile and say:

“Why would I want to go out when the best party in town is à la maison!?”

The reason he felt that way was simple: my mother.

She made every house we lived in a home. Without ever using a recipe, she created magic in the kitchen and crafted IG-worthy tablescapes long before social media existed. It was never about perfection — it was always about connection. The personal touches. The feeling of a space that people never want to leave. Whether our closest relatives lived across the street or across the globe, she quickly became the hostess-with-the-mostest who turned strangers into family. Our maison was always the place to be.

Hospitality is in my blood, and my travels have taught me this: home is so much more than a place. It’s that warm feeling that says you’re right where you’re supposed to be.

Our Door is always open. We look forward to sharing some of that magic with you.

Bienvenue à La Maison — Welcome Home.
